How are launches ranked by community votes?

Voting on Verilo Launch

To vote on a live launch, sign in to your account and confirm your email address. Each person gets one vote per listing. Your vote is recorded on the audit trail and counts towards the launch's standing in the community ranking.

You're welcome to vote for your own launch, but only after you have voted for at least one other founder's work first. This rule keeps the ranking honest.

How we protect the count

Our system watches for voting patterns that look wrong. Limits per hour and per day prevent artificial inflation. If suspicious activity occurs—such as repeated votes in a short timeframe—those votes are flagged and held for review before they count towards the total.

A quick human check may be triggered at any time to confirm voting integrity.

Why votes stay separate from money

Community votes, our paid billboard listing, verification badges and factual signals like Domain Rating are four distinct systems. They work in parallel and are clearly labelled so you know what you're looking at. Payment has no effect on vote counts—ever.

Active, trusted members of our community do earn influence, which can give their vote more weight in the ranking. That influence is earned only through participation and good standing on record.

Questions people ask

Can I vote more than once for the same launch?
No. You have one vote per listing, and it's recorded once. You can change which launches you support, but the total per launch stays at one vote per person.
Why do I have to vote for someone else first?
It ensures founders engage with the community before voting for their own work. This keeps the ranking grounded in real participation rather than self-promotion alone.
What happens if voting looks suspicious?
Bursts of activity are flagged automatically and held for review. Until our team confirms the votes are legitimate, they don't count towards the launch's total.
