Philippine freelancing explained in Taglish, with free rate, contract and invoice tools and a hiring guide for businesses
PinoyFreelance.PH is a free, Taglish-language resource site on starting, finding clients, setting rates and getting paid as a freelancer in the Philippines, with a separate guide for businesses that hire Filipino freelancers. It lists a PHP and USD rate calculator and contract, proposal and invoice templates alongside the guides. The public pages make a focused offer with no cost or sign-up and are open about the founder's Zinn Hub connection; the main thing to check is how much of the planned library is live yet.
Key takeaways
- The site targets a clear gap: freelancing advice built around BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, GCash, Maya and peso figures rather than generic Western guidance.
- Content is organised into six task-based hubs covering getting started, finding clients, rates, payments, hiring and a Zinn Hub walkthrough.
- Four free tools are listed: a rate calculator in PHP and USD plus contract, proposal and invoice templates.
- Everything is stated to be free, with no paywall, no hidden fees and no registration required.
- The founder, Norman Galanza, is named, and the commercial connection to Zinn Hub is disclosed on the about page and in the terms.
- The library is still being built out, so readers should check the depth of each hub they plan to rely on.
