What does my founder profile need before a listing is released?
A listing is held until its owner's founder profile is complete; this explains what is checked and what happens once you finish it.
Updated
Verilo Launch lists real founders, so each listing is tied to a person on record. Until that person's profile is complete, the listing is held.
What the profile must contain
Open /account/founder and check that these items are filled in:
- A photo, together with a single sentence describing what the photo shows
- Your full name
- Your title or role
- Your country
- A bio of 80 characters or more
- One personal link or more: your own website or personal social profile. Company pages are not accepted for this field.
City and a founder story link are optional. Leaving them blank does not hold anything.
What a held listing means
You can draft, submit and pay for a listing while the profile is incomplete. It will show the status "waiting for founder profile". It cannot be scheduled or published until the owner's profile passes the check.
Nothing is lost. As soon as the profile is complete, the listing is released automatically.
- If your paid week has not yet arrived, that week is kept.
- If the paid week has already gone by, the listing goes out this week.
- If the listing is free and its week has gone by, it goes out in the next free-queue week.
We tell you which of these applied.
Adding co-founders
Use the Team section of /account/founder to invite co-founders. Each one is shown on the product only after completing their own profile. Their incomplete profile is not a reason for the listing itself to be held; the record shows the owner's profile as the requirement.
